About us
“Those who care for a forest also need support to keep it standing.”
Henrique Cardoso
In 2024, Henrique tried the obvious: making his own Legal Reserve pay for itself, and he ran into the same barriers that block any landowner trying to enter the environmental credits market, starting with the money. Certifying an area under that model requires paying up front, with a return that can take years.
That is how Neutraza began: to bring together those who care for the forest and those who want to be part of that care.

Financial support to keep caring for the area.

You know exactly which forest you are supporting and follow the information about it.

“Henrique grew up in the countryside and knows the routine of those who produce and care for the land. He felt firsthand how hard it is to get paid for preserving, created Neutraza and now runs the operation.”
Track record
Henrique also comes from tech: in 2005, he brought Next IT, a US customer-service company later bought by Verint, to Brazil.
Neutraza operates through two companies: one in Brazil and one in the United States.
Showing where each forest is and sharing data so you can follow the area.
Getting support to the people who care for the area, with no intermediaries along the way.
Supporting those who already keep a native forest standing.
Working within applicable law, including the Brazilian National Policy on Payment for Environmental Services.

Those who look after the reserve need the means to keep going. Those who support want to know which area they are helping. Neutraza builds that bridge.
