For companies

Verified forest for your company's report and brand

Your company adopts Legal Reserve hectares on identified farms, with the official CAR boundary and satellite monitoring. Each hectare has a serialized certificate, a public page and a verifiable QR code. The Guardian who keeps the forest standing receives a monthly payment for conservation.

Proof, not claims

The carbon market has become a black box. Nobody knows which forest a credit comes from, and greenwashing has taken away the credibility of anyone who communicates environmental impact.

With the FRU, your company knows which forest it keeps standing: farm, municipality, Guardian and the reserve boundary on the map. Anyone can check it through the QR code, without taking anyone's word for it.

The FRU is a Payment for Environmental Services (Brazilian Law 14,119/2021), not a carbon credit. It does not claim offsetting or neutrality: it is a verified contribution to keep the Legal Reserve standing.

How it works for companies

  1. Tell us the goal

ESG report, EUDR, packaging, an employee benefit or a client gift. The goal defines the biome, region and volume.

  2. Choose the reserves

We point you to verified Legal Reserves in the biome and region that make sense for your supply chain.

  3. Adopt in bulk

One certificate per FRU, each with a unique number and a public page to cite in reports and communication.

  4. Follow the forest

A reserve image and vegetation cover report every quarter, deforestation and fire alerts, and the annual MapBiomas classification.

How companies use the FRU

Illustrative examples. Neutraza helps you choose the format that fits your company's goal.

  • ESG report and EUDR

Verified boundaries and data for GRI 304, TNFD, CDP Forests and CSRD, plus evidence of origin for the European deforestation regulation (EUDR).

  • Agricultural supply chain

A trading company keeps forest standing in the region where it buys grain, protecting the rainfall its suppliers depend on.

  • QR code on packaging

The brand puts the Neutraza QR code on its packaging. Consumers scan it and see the forest the brand keeps standing.

  • HR and corporate gifts

Employees or clients receive the adoption of a forest, with a certificate in their own name and quarterly updates.

What it means for each part of the company

  • CFO

Low, predictable cost with a possible tax benefit

Less than one dollar a day per hectare, with possible tax deduction depending on the company's regime.

  • Sustainability

    Indicators beyond area size

Data on water, climate and biodiversity from official, auditable sources.

  • Marketing

    Concrete, well-backed communication

Show customers the exact hectare your brand helps keep standing.

  • Operations and agribusiness

    Water and climate security

Standing forest helps keep the rainfall and the water your operation depends on.

Risks and how we handle them

Fire or deforestation
Suspension of the contract for the Guardian's entire area and notice to the company. Replacement with an equivalent hectare is being structured.
Permanence
PES contract with monthly payment tied to the area's conservation. The minimum term is being structured.
Sale of the property
Succession clause and registration of the commitment on the property title (being structured).
Clouds and image gaps
Image composites and Sentinel-1 radar, which sees the surface through clouds, together with the annual MapBiomas classification.
Regulatory (EmpCo, CONAR)
Communication based on proven data, without vague terms such as "neutral" or "offset".
Counterparty in Brazil
Neutraza Brasil S/A is being incorporated; meanwhile, contracts are signed with Neutraza International LLC.

Items marked "being structured" are still being formalized legally and operationally.

Questions from decision makers

Is the FRU a carbon credit?
No. The FRU is a Payment for Environmental Services for keeping a Legal Reserve standing. It does not generate credits, does not claim to offset emissions and should not be communicated as neutrality.
Why pay for a reserve that is already mandatory?
The law requires it but does not guarantee it: Brazil's Legal Reserve deficit reaches 17.3 million hectares. Law 14,119/2021 itself (art. 9) provides for payments for Legal Reserves. The payment changes the incentive, because the forest starts to generate income for the Guardian, and it is only made when upkeep is verified.
What data does the company receive?
A serialized certificate for each FRU, the reserve boundary on the map, a reserve image and cover report every quarter, deforestation and fire alerts, and the annual MapBiomas classification. The indicators report is being rolled out.
What if there is fire or deforestation in the reserve?
The contract for the Guardian's entire area is suspended and your company receives the alert. Replacement with an equivalent hectare is being structured.
Is there a tax benefit?
There are options in Brazil that depend on each company's situation. Because the topic involves confidential material, we discuss it directly: get in touch.
How does the pilot work?
It runs for 12 months, with 50 to 100 hectares of Legal Reserve and 1 to 3 companies. We measure renewal, quarters with a usable image, the use of the data in your report and, if there is packaging, QR code scans.
Who does the company sign the contract with?
While Neutraza Brasil S/A is being incorporated, contracts are signed with Neutraza International LLC.
