You choose a Legal Reserve on the map and adopt as many hectares as you like. Each hectare is one FRU, with a unique number and you as its only holder. From then on, you can follow the area through satellite imagery and get to know who looks after it day to day.

Before contributing, you can check where the area is, what it is like and who looks after it. After adoption, this information stays available so you can follow it.

With Neutraza, you choose an area to be preserved and know exactly where it is. Through the map and satellite imagery, you can follow that area at any time and compare the records over time.

How it works

  1. Choose your reserve

    Browse the available reserves, see where each one is and follow the forest through satellite images.

  2. Decide how many FRU to support

    Use the calculator to find out how much you need to offset, or pick the number of FRU you want to adopt.

  3. Confirm your support

    Choose a monthly or annual contribution and complete the payment.

  4. Get your certificate and follow along

    You get exclusive access to the Atlas portal and your adoption certificate.

Questions before adopting

Is this a carbon credit?
No. An FRU is neither a carbon credit nor a financial investment. By adopting, you support the conservation of one hectare of Legal Reserve and contribute to the person who looks after that area.
How do I know the forest exists?
Before a reserve enters the catalog, Neutraza checks the CAR, verifies the area's boundaries and analyzes its vegetation cover by satellite. On your FRU's public page you can see this information and the available imagery, each with its date.
Can my company take part?
Yes. Your company can adopt hectares as part of its sustainability actions and show customers the area it supports, with a certificate and a public page. Individuals can take part too, starting at one hectare.
What if I want to cancel?
On the monthly and yearly plans, you can cancel from your dashboard whenever you want, with no fee. You also have 7 days after purchase to withdraw and get your money back.
